6. Installing the Blade

Install the blade holder.



Loosen the screw as shown in the gure.



Support the screw from below and insert

the blade holder.

If you install the blade holder without supporting

the screw from below, the cutting quality may be

deteriorated.

Tighten the screw.

Pull the blade holder upward to make sure it does

not come o.

Close the front cover, and then press .

Important Note on the Handling and Use of the Cutting Carriage

While the blade holder is not attached, leave the screws of the cutting carriage loose. If you leave them

tightened rmly, the hole to insert the blade holder is gradually getting smaller, which will make it dicult

to attach the blade holder.

Insert until the collar is ush

with the surface.
