Running the EXR-Studio software

Always turn on your EXR-E

before run the EXR-Studio software. Otherwise the MIDI ports

will not be available and some function will not work (for example test or real-time

monitoring).

Setting the location of the EXR files on your PC

The first time the software asks you to give a folder name for the EXR data files.

You can enter the path of this folder manually or select it from a browser window. Press the

dotted button to open the folder browser. You can also create new directories here. If the

entered folder doesn’t exist the program will create it.

This folder will contain the style, song, user programs and backup files. You can copy them

here from your EXR-E

flash memory or copy them into the flash. The built in

EXR-Commander help you to manage the files.

This folder can be changed later. Use this option under the Settings menu Directories… entry.

If you change the directory the oldest folder and the files will be kept.

Please note that the uninstall procedure will not delete this folder.
