6. Installing the Ink Cartridges (LEC-330)

Selecting the Ink Mode

Be sure to make the selection of the ink mode when switching on the power for the rst time.

When Selecting Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, White, White



Close the front cover.



If the main power switch is on, then switch it off.



Hold down and ,switch on the main power switch. When a mes-

sage appears on the display screen, release the operation-panel buttons.



Press when this screen appears.

The sub power is switched o.

This completes selection of the ink mode. Go on to page 46, "Installing the Ink Cartridges."

Important

Selection of the ink mode can be made only once, when installing ink cartridges for the rst

time after the unit has shipped from the factory. Once ink-lling has been started, the ink mode

cannot be changed. Select it with care.
