7. Installing the Blade



Open the front cover.

When this screen appears, preparation is completed.

Install the blade holder.



Loosen the screw shown in the gure.



Support the screw from below and insert the blade holder.

If installed without supporting the screw in this way, cutting quality may become poor.



Tighten the screw.

Tug the blade holder upward to make sure it does not come loose.



Close the front cover, then press .

Important Note on the Handling and Use of the Cutting Carriage

Leave the cutting-carriage screw loose when no blade holder is installed. Keeping the screw tightened

causes the blade-holder insertion hole to become gradually smaller, making installation dicult.
